This is why I love these bars so much - they are so versatile. From being enough on their own in bar form to their delicious ability to dress up a dessert, you can't go wrong. Not to mention they bring with them the beauty of blood sugar balance!
I was surprised (yet delighted) to hear he crumbled an Empower Bar atop some pre-made coconut milk ice cream, slowing folding in the pieces to create a creamy sweet treat with a bit of a chewy crunch.
With warmer weather this summer season, we are turning to more of those cooling foods to bring the body back into balance. Smoothies, smoothie bowls, chia pudding and coconut yogurt are some of our favorite breakfasts.
